Cookie Dough Sale

February 15 - 29, 2012

Nothing tastes better than fresh-baked cookies! Look for information coming home soon on the cookie dough fundraising event. The cookies are manufactured by Otis Spunkmeyer and 40% of every purchase goes to the Boosters. The sale begins February 15 and ends February 29. The cookie dough will be delivered the week of March 26th. There are 2 easy choices: a 2.7 LB tub (Easy-Scoop Tub) or the proportioned cookies (48 1oz. cookies). Pretzels and brownies are also available. Laura Kerr is the chairperson and you can contact her at kerrcladd@wowway.com.


Bowling for the Band

Friday, April 13 @ 7pm, Van Dyke Bowl

The Utica High School Instrumental Boosters will host their Annual "Bowling for the Band" fundraiser at Van Dyke Bowl just north of Riverland Road on Van Dyke. Check in will be @ 6:30pm and bowling will start @ 7pm. Tickets are $20.00 per person and include two (2) games, shoes, pizza and pop. You can sign up as teams of 6 and please designate a team captain. If you don't have a group of 6, don't worry, we will work something out for you! There will be raffles for prizes, a 50/50 drawing, Mystery Lane and Lucky Lane. Businesses can have lane sponsorships with a $100 donation or individual items may be donated as raffle prizes.We are asking each family that has a student in band to donate something for this fundraiser. If each family donated one item, we will be able to create some great gift baskets and raffle prizes. Please drop off your donation to the band room with your name on it. Suggested donations:

- gift cards
- theme items (items to put together a movie night basket such as popcorn, dvd, candy)
- bottles of beverages (to create baskets of cheer)
- wine/wine glasses
- services - If you can provide a service or in business yourself (like housecleaning), you could donate that service.
- money - place an envelope in the orange box with bowling donation written on the envelope. We will use it to purchase items for the raffle.
